Born in Australia, Visnja Brdar, has lived and worked in Melbourne, Sydney, Paris, London, Milan and Rome. She moved to New York in 1999 after being invited to work with Fabien Baron. During her career as a Creative Director and Graphic Designer, Visnja Brdar developed an acute sensibility for the symbolic and tactile effects that an image can create in one’s heart and mind. Her talent and fierce aesthetic vision led her to collaborate with the industry’s leading influencers, among them: Richard Avedon, Marc Newson, Michael Kors, Giorgio Armani, Jil Sander and Peter Zumthor. Inspired by her experiences and emboldened by what she saw as a need for a new creative philosophy Visnja Brdar set the stage for a new approach to fine jewelry design. She created jewelry that was more than just decorative – jewelry that embodied qualities of the human spirit. This was superchic jewelry that had the power to empower.
