Designer Muriel Brandolini's unconventional approach to design has made her one of the most sought-after designers in New York. She constantly reinvents her style with new ideas, breaking away from the traditional and predictable. Half Vietnamese and half French/Venezuelan, Muriel draws on her Asian, European, Latin American heritage in her designs, which display a celebrated mix of fantasy and elegant exoticism. Her designs—ranging from fabrics to furniture, home décor to clothing—have been featured in a variety of publications, including Harper's Bazaar, The World of Interiors, Vogue, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair and Elle Décor, among others. The recent launch of The World of Muriel Brandolini: Interiors, which Muriel co-authored with Amy Tai (Rizzoli), coincided with a pioneering sale of her collection of decorative arts and design with Phillips de Pury.
