Enamored with home decor since childhood, Michelle Adams earned a degree in textile and interior design in college and later honed her design aesthetic at domino, where she scoured the country for the newest and best in home decor. In 2008, she left domino to found Rubie Green, an organic textiles and soft goods company that incorporates style with sustainability. When the recession hit and shelter magazines started closing, Adams sought out a solution to the rapidly decreasing number of print publications. Combining their professional expertise and entrepreneurial drive, Adams and Cline hatched a plan for connecting readers with accessible design through online avenues. And thus, Lonny was born.
