Color, fashion, style, design—Marcy Michaud has always loved beautiful things. A bit over a year ago, Marcy—who was working for a children’s publishing company in Connecticut—realized that the list of design blogs she was following was getting extensive. In 2011, she created Stylesson, in order to share the design blogs with others, highlight the bloggers who write them, and to spotlight industry events.

Marcy worked on Vogue Patterns and Butterick Patterns magazines and helped launch Vogue Knitting Magazine, after graduating from University of Bridgeport, with a merchandising and retailing degree. Later, she worked at Macy’s flagship store in Herald Square as a fashion consultant. Fascinated with the blogger world, she attends events such as BlogFest and the Brimfield Tweetup.
