Belgian native Katrien Van der Schueren has been collecting art and artifacts since the age of ten. In 2006 she founded voila!, a Los Angeles based studio dedicated to unique designs for the home. With a devotion to the exotic and unexpected, voila! studio fuses history into a current context. The result is a fascinating world chock full of quirky, vintage pieces re-purposed with a twist and edgy one-of-a kind creations that make you smile.

Since its conception voila! and its treasures have been featured in the LA Times, LA Magazine, Angeleno Magazine, Western Interiors and Architectural Digest, among others and just last month, San Francisco based publisher Chronicle Books, launched a coffee table book on Katrien’s extensive collection of vintage educational charts.

For this sale, the studio created some exclusive pieces that are the perfect gifts. There are also five signed copies of ”The Art of Instruction” available for purchase.
