ARTHUR PINAJIAN EXHIBITION

In the spring, we brought you the low down on a recently discovered Abstract Expressionist and illustrator, Arthur Pinajian, whose works have appreciated significantly in value since this inTREND article first appeared.

His works were well received at a solo exhibition at the Zorayan Museum in Los Angeles (May 19-June 19), where some of his abstractions sold for over $30,000.  In 2010 Pinajian’s work was exhibited at the celebrated Woodstock Art Association and Museum, which has shown the works of such well known artists as Rolph Scarlett and Reginald Marsh.

His “Bellport Landscape Abstraction” works are now home again in Bellport, Long Island, N.Y., where they are being exhibited at Gallery 125.  Be sure to take a look at his work in person, and stay tuned next when his works will be available on V&M.

Opening Reception:  Saturday, August 20, 2011, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Gallery Talk:  Thursday, August 25, 2011, 6:30 p.m.

Peter Hastings Falk, editor of Who Was Who in American Art, will discuss the discovery and the significance of Pinajian’s body of work.
